Payroll Superuser (Workday)

Payroll Superuser (Workday): Leading the deployment of payroll changes and managing testing cycles within the Workday HCM environment with an accent on compliance, data accuracy, and stakeholder collaboration. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to the Bristol hub (Hybrid: expected in-office at least once a week).

Salary: £32,000 - £40,000

What you will do

• Lead and project manage the deployment of payroll changes to the Workday tenant.
• Define test plans, create scripts, and execute all levels of testing including UAT and regression.
• Document payroll processes and provide training to Payroll, People, and Reward teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including People Operations, Benefits, and the Workday HCM team.
• Support end-to-end payroll processing, including overtime, pension, and benefits administration.
• Review and refine payroll process mapping to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong payroll experience with comprehensive knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
• Proven experience in testing methodologies and process design.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and initiate process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and training.
• Must have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
