TL;DR

Payroll Manager (Fintech): Managing end-to-end monthly payroll operations and compliance for the hirify.global Group across multiple global jurisdictions with an accent on accurate submission and financial reporting. Focus on driving process efficiencies, implementing payroll automation, and ensuring strict adherence to international payroll legislation.

Location: Hybrid in London, UK (Minimum 2-3 days per week in-office depending on level)

What you will do

  • Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process across all group entities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure full adherence to payroll compliance and regulations across all operating jurisdictions.
  • Act as the primary contact for employee payroll queries and manage relationships with benefit providers and partners.
  • Provide detailed payroll reconciliations and post journal entries onto the general ledger.
  • Drive efficiencies in payroll systems and implement best practices to automate tasks.
  • Oversee the employee expense reimbursement process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in payroll management, preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing software (e.g., HiBob, Pento, Deel).
  • Must be based in London, UK to comply with the hybrid work model.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Nice to have

  • CIPP qualification or an international equivalent.
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation in South Africa, Australia, and Canada.
