Senior Finance Officer

Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 per annum

What you will do

• Support month-end close and the preparation of management accounts.
• Manage VAT returns and maintain accurate financial records.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and balance sheet accounts.
• Handle payroll for approximately 200 permanent and temporary employees.
• Oversee finance and expense systems (e.g., Proactis, SUN), maintaining workflows and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and HR to implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in a Senior Finance Officer or Finance Officer role.
• Strong knowledge of month-end processes, VAT, and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with finance systems (SUN is desirable).
• Must be based in London and available for hybrid work (2-3 days in office, including Wednesdays).
