What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of 5-7 software engineers.
• Design and implement development tools and infrastructure for the R&D organization.
• Develop and maintain test infrastructure used by QA teams.
• Build and maintain APIs and interfaces connecting the company's storage product with various cloud providers.
• Develop a full-stack bug investigation portal and manage VM orchestration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall R&D productivity.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Haifa, Israel.
• 5+ years of professional Python development experience (focused on Object-Oriented programming).
• 2+ years of experience working with the Linux platform.
• 3+ years of experience in team leadership.
• Strong technical abilities in system design, coding, and debugging.
• Ability to take full ownership of feature development from inception to delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with Networking, Storage, or Virtualization.
• Knowledge of Docker, Git, HTTP, and REST.
