Senior Engineering Manager, Decision Engineering (Backend/AI): Leading the development of hirify.global’s business-critical decision engine, APIs, and analyst self-service capabilities with an accent on high-scale performance, strict latency SLAs, and five-nines availability. Focus on guiding Staff+ engineers through high-risk technical and product decisions, optimizing ROI, and innovating customer-facing engine interfaces.

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office for team members based near a key hub.

What you will do

• Own and oversee development of a business-critical decision engineering area, maintaining long-term quality and service-level performance.
• Guide Staff+ engineers and technical leads in planning and executing projects with significant technical, product, and investment risks.
• Help engineers connect technical innovation with business value, ROI, and risk management.
• Shape the product direction of the decision engine, its APIs, and agentic interfaces for hirify.global customers.
• Collaborate across product and engineering initiatives in a highly technical backend environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing business-critical engineering teams.
• Previous experience as a Staff+ Engineer or Tech Lead.
• Experience overseeing large projects with technical and/or business risks.
• Experience working in performance-critical, high-scale environments with demanding SLAs.

Nice to have

• Experience managing Staff+ engineers.
• Experience with customer-facing technical products such as APIs, CLI tools, or dashboards.
