Casualty Field Adjuster - North East

Location: Home-based in Leeds, covering casualty claims across the North East of England; travel in the area is required. Workplace type: Fully remote.

What you will do

• Liaise with insurers, policyholders, and brokers throughout the claims process.
• Investigate allocated casualty claims in the field or from the desk and gather supporting evidence and documentation.
• Prepare preliminary reports covering policy indemnity, legal liability, quantum, and tactics.
• Determine appropriate case resolutions and defend or negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits.
• Progress cases professionally, follow documented procedures, and maintain accurate reserves through regular reviews.
• Keep technical knowledge current through training and professional development programmes.

Requirements

• Experience as a casualty adjuster or investigator is suitable, although industry experience is not essential.
• Ability and ambition to develop the skills and knowledge required for the role.
• Ability to work from home while travelling across the North East of England as required.
• Ability to communicate professionally with insurers, policyholders, brokers, and other parties.
