Fullstack Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, debug, and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications and services.
• Build a new web application integrated with a payment marketplace, as well as back-office and customer onboarding applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrations using layered design, data access objects, and design patterns.
• Maintain CI/CD and automation environments using Jenkins and GitLab.
• Participate in requirements definition, documentation, code reviews, Agile planning, and effort estimation.
• Support production escalations, resolve technical issues, and identify opportunities to improve delivery and product launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or an equivalent technology discipline.
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular, plus HTML and CSS.
• 2+ years of experience with Java and Python backend development.
• 1+ year of experience with Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, RESTful API development, SaaS deployment, Jenkins, GitLab, Agile methodologies, and secure web application development.
• Ability to work autonomously, collaborate with the team, and contribute to task breakdown and project estimation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering.
• Experience in an SDLC environment and developing commercial or external software products.
