Senior Software Engineer (Python/Go)

Location: Paris, France; hybrid with three days per week in the office, including mandatory Mondays

What you will do

• Build features for the Circularity Order Lifecycle squad and hirify.global’s Trade-in program.
• Design, build, launch, monitor, and support the services owned by the engineering team.
• Modernize the platform by evolving the monolith into a distributed, service-oriented architecture.
• Improve existing designs and architecture for quarter-bounded projects and mission-critical squad areas.
• Facilitate technical discussions, explore high-impact technologies, and help mitigate complex incidents.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, data analysts, operations, and business partners.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with strong ownership and versatility across the technical stack.
• Ability to produce clean, consistent, and well-organized code and deliver seamless user experiences at scale.
• Backend experience with Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Celery, Golang, or Django.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as VueJS, TypeScript, and Nuxt.
• Experience with distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, databases, messaging, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong English communication skills are required for collaboration with an international team.
