Salary: $105,000 – $115,000

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end partnership tax function, coordinating with external advisors and internal accounting teams.
- Manage indirect tax obligations and monitor state-specific DFS tax laws and filing requirements.
- Oversee the 1099 reporting program, including 1099-MISC, 1099-NEC, and 1099-K filings for winners and contractors.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external tax advisory firms, managing project scoping and deliverables.
- Lead FCM (Futures Commission Merchant) reporting and maintain internal compliance controls.
- Monitor federal, state, and local tax law changes to provide technical support for M&A and new product launches.
Requirements
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience with meaningful exposure to partnership taxation.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance and regulatory research tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice to have
- Experience with private equity operating companies.
- Expertise in indirect tax compliance and 1099 information reporting programs.
- Experience in the online gaming or fintech industries.
- Familiarity with tax technology tools such as Vertex, Avalara, or Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE.
