What you will do

• Apply library characterization methodologies for standard cell, memory, I/O, and mixed-signal IP.
• Analyze timing, power, and variation results to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to validate new product features and improve characterization flows.
• Debug customer-reported problems and develop effective technical solutions.
• Develop automation tools and workflows using Python, Tcl, Perl, or shell scripting.
• Support customer engagement teams in technology adoption and project execution.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• Strong foundation in semiconductor devices, CMOS circuits, and digital design.
• Basic understanding of circuit simulation and SPICE concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a global environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with VLSI design or EDA tools.
• Familiarity with timing, power, and library characterization concepts.
• Knowledge of Liberty formats (NLDM, CCS, ECSM, LVF, EM).
• Experience with Spectre or other circuit simulation tools.
• Understanding of statistics and Monte Carlo simulation.
