What you will do

• Develop and execute regional electronics category strategies aligned with global direction.
• Embed category management and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) practices across APAC manufacturing sites.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Supply Chain, and IBP teams.
• Manage supplier selection and award decisions based on TCO (cost, quality, delivery, working capital).
• Drive lead-time reduction and speed-to-market improvements through cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead supplier segmentation, panel management, and SRM execution; run low-cost country sourcing initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong experience in direct material sourcing within electronics manufacturing or complex product environments.
• Proven experience in a regional APAC sourcing or category management role.
• Deep understanding of electronics components, assemblies, or equipment categories.
• Track record working closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence in a matrixed organization.
• Strong communication skills and cultural awareness across APAC.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• APICS and/or MCIPS certification (or working towards).
• Experience with global or matrix organizations.
• Exposure to Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworks.
• Experience with low-cost country sourcing and TCO optimization strategies.
