Industrial Automation Engineer (Pharma, GMP/GAMP 5)

What you will do

• Define user requirements and functional specifications for pharmaceutical automation projects.
• Develop and monitor project timelines with Quality, Validation, Production, and Maintenance teams.
• Coordinate system integrators, electricians, automation specialists, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Validate PLC, SCADA, and DCS architectures and oversee FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ qualification phases.
• Manage change control, technical deliverables, project risks, audits, and regulatory documentation.
• Lead project meetings and act as the main technical contact for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial automation within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GAMP 5, and pharmaceutical validation processes.
• Experience with industrial automation platforms such as Siemens SIMATIC, PCS 7, Opcenter Execution Pharma, Rockwell, or DeltaV.
• Significant experience managing multiple automation projects in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Industrial IT, Process Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Upper-intermediate English is required.
