ASIC Design Verification Engineer (Aerospace)

ASIC Design Verification Engineer (SystemVerilog/UVM): Verifying the functionality and performance of custom silicon designs for high-power satellites with an accent on testbench development and coverage closure. Location: Remote (US). Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by ITAR or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export control license.

Salary: $130,000 – $200,000 + equity

What you will do

• Develop and execute verification plans for block-level, subsystem-level, and full-chip environments.
• Build SystemVerilog/UVM test benches, including agents, monitors, scoreboards, and coverage models.
• Write SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) and integrate formal verification where appropriate.
• Drive constrained-random and directed testing strategies to validate functionality, corner cases, and stress scenarios.
• Collaborate with RTL designers to triage failures and perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage regression testing, simulation farms, and CI pipelines to ensure high test throughput.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC verification.
• Proficiency with SystemVerilog, digital logic, and hardware verification flows.
• Experience with simulation tools (VCS, Xcelium, Questa) and waveform debug (Verdi, SimVision).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, TCL) and Git.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" (citizen, green card holder, etc.) per ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with UVM-based testbench development and regression management.
• Understanding of industry standard interfaces such as APB, AHB, or AXI.
• Experience in space, telecom, or RF/digital mixed systems.
• Ability to work in cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
