What you will do
- Design and maintain features for adaptive radiotherapy workflows, including DICOM integration, image registration, and dose visualization.
- Build and optimize algorithms for 3D image processing, coordinate transforms, and deformable registration on deformed anatomy.
- Develop performant, reliable WPF desktop software operating under near real-time constraints.
- Integrate with oncology information systems via DICOM networking and clinical interfaces.
- Collaborate with physicists and product leaders to translate complex clinical requirements into production software.
- Contribute to system architecture, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in C# and WPF with experience developing production desktop applications.
- Experience working with DICOM data and 3D medical imaging.
- Knowledge of geometric computing, numerical methods, coordinate systems, and spatial transformations.
- Must be based in the US or Canada.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in a related technical field.
- Experience in radiotherapy treatment planning and delivery (clinical, research, or industry).
- Experience with deformable image registration (DIR) algorithms or DVH-based plan evaluation.
- Experience with .NET Core, C++, or Python.
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
