TL;DR

What you will do

  • Design and maintain features for adaptive radiotherapy workflows, including DICOM integration, image registration, and dose visualization.
  • Build and optimize algorithms for 3D image processing, coordinate transforms, and deformable registration on deformed anatomy.
  • Develop performant, reliable WPF desktop software operating under near real-time constraints.
  • Integrate with oncology information systems via DICOM networking and clinical interfaces.
  • Collaborate with physicists and product leaders to translate complex clinical requirements into production software.
  • Contribute to system architecture, code reviews, and technical decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and WPF with experience developing production desktop applications.
  • Experience working with DICOM data and 3D medical imaging.
  • Knowledge of geometric computing, numerical methods, coordinate systems, and spatial transformations.
  • Must be based in the US or Canada.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in a related technical field.
  • Experience in radiotherapy treatment planning and delivery (clinical, research, or industry).
  • Experience with deformable image registration (DIR) algorithms or DVH-based plan evaluation.
  • Experience with .NET Core, C++, or Python.
  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
