What you will do

• Administer and maintain IRIS for Health integration platform environments across AWS EC2 with a focus on high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Manage Linux-based servers, network security (including PaloAlto VPN tunnels), system maintenance, security patches, and performance optimization across dev/staging/production.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CodeFresh and GitLab to automate deployments and ensure consistent releases.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IRIS for Health integrations with customer EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts) to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Build automation scripts and tools for environment provisioning, deployments, and routine maintenance; implement infrastructure automation using modern DevOps practices.
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging; participate in a rotating on-call schedule and improve platform reliability using performance analysis.

Requirements

• Location: Remote - US
• 5+ years of experience in system administration, DevOps, or SRE roles (or 10 years equivalent experience).
• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills, including command-line proficiency and shell scripting.
• Experience administering InterSystems Cache' and IRIS for Health.
• Hands-on AWS experience for managing cloud infrastructure.
• CI/CD pipeline experience with CodeFresh, GitLab, or similar platforms; scripting proficiency (Python, Cache ObjectScript, Bash, JavaScript).

Nice to have

• IRIS for Health certifications; AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer).
• Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Healthcare IT/medical device industry experience; performance tuning and capacity planning.
