Senior Test Engineer for SOC Microprocessors (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Design and implement cost-effective testing methods for IP on advanced nodes in collaboration with Design and Verification teams.
• Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) through detailed characterization, qualification, and debug of new products.
• Develop diagnostic programs to support production testing and qualification phases.
• Manage ATE hardware design and execution, specifically for high-speed requirements.
• Anticipate and define test strategies based on semiconductor design and manufacturing risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor test development, silicon verification, or emulation.
• Hands-on experience with Advantest, Teradyne ATE, or System Level Test on advanced FinFET or GAA SOCs (below 28nm).
• Proficiency in Verilog and Python programming.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and the economics of testing.
• Location: Must be based in Austin, TX (Oakhill Office)

Nice to have

• Experience with AI processors or SERDES interfaces (PCIe, USB, MIPI, etc.).
• Knowledge of HVST, scan, MBIST, or analog test.
• Strong grasp of statistics and Six Sigma manufacturing methodologies.
