Senior Principal Test Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Must be based in Irvine, CA

Salary: $162,000–$239,760 per annum

What you will do

• Lead test program development for PIVR products across pre-silicon and post-silicon validation phases.
• Drive ATE hardware design, including review and approval processes prior to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement comprehensive test plans.
• Develop production test programs and hardware solutions for IVR and PIVR components.
• Establish standardized processes and methodologies for the Operations Engineering Team.
• Coordinate with program management to align key milestones for successful NPI deployment.

Requirements

• 15+ years of Test Engineering experience with a focus on NPI and high-volume manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership experience driving test development initiatives.
• Strong hands-on experience with PMIC testing and ATE hardware design.
• Advanced programming skills in Java, C/C++, and Python.
• In-depth knowledge of Advantest V93000 hardware and software platforms.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws.

Nice to have

• Experience with IVR and photonic products.
• Expert-level knowledge of Teradyne UltraFLEX (IG-XL) platforms.
• Understanding of RF/microwave principles and signal integrity.
• Hands-on experience with thermal characterization and testing.
