What you will do

• Translate (sub-)system, legal, and business requirements into clear project plans and deliverables.
• Coordinate engineering disciplines to deliver scope on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project timelines and resource plans aligned with gate reviews and the hirify.global Project Launch Process.
• Monitor progress, report status, lead cross-functional problem-solving, and ensure design decisions remain within platform boundaries.
• Drive effective communication across engineering, non-engineering teams, and customers to maintain alignment.
• Support continuous improvement by enhancing processes, methods, and tools and turning strategic decisions into project-level improvements.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in a relevant technical field (Software, Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering); project management certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic product development, ideally in the automotive industry.
• Proven project management experience with knowledge of automotive quality standards (e.g., APQP, ASPICE).
• Strong problem-solving skills using structured methods such as 8D; Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align and motivate cross-functional teams.
