Staff Product Manager (Agentic AI)

Location: San Francisco or Mountain View, California, United States

Salary: $172,200–$258,400 USD per year, plus potential annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the Agentic Enterprise applications platform.
• Define a managed agent runtime with multi-step orchestration, durable execution, model gateway abstraction, governed tool invocation, and configurable guardrails.
• Build the MCP connector ecosystem, including identity propagation, idempotency, preview modes, and a connector SDK.
• Establish the intelligence layer across knowledge graphs, context graphs, temporal memory, and unified retrieval with source traceability.
• Ship evaluation and quality frameworks with offline testing, LLM-as-judge scoring, domain-specific judges, and CI/CD quality gates.
• Design self-service developer experiences and adoption models for SDKs, CLIs, templates, sandboxes, documentation, and promotion pipelines.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years with internal platforms, infrastructure, or developer-experience products.
• Experience building platforms used by other teams, with strong opinions on API design, developer ergonomics, and self-service workflows.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms, agent frameworks, LLM-powered applications, or agentic systems, including practical knowledge of agent runtimes and RAG.
• Strong technical foundation for discussing architecture trade-offs such as synchronous versus asynchronous execution, checkpointing, and context-window management.
• Experience shipping SDKs, CLIs, templates, documentation, and self-service workflows.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across four or more teams and communicate through strategy documents, PRDs, and executive briefs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Lakehouse architecture, Unity Catalog, MLflow, or Delta Lake.
• Familiarity with LangGraph, LangChain, MCP, A2A, or AG-UI protocols.
• Experience building AI evaluation frameworks, LLM-as-judge systems, red-teaming, or automated quality scoring.
• Experience with design systems, component libraries, frontend platforms, or enterprise SaaS platform consolidation.
