Senior Tax Analyst

TL;DR

What you will do

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns in coordination with outside advisors.
• Support global quarterly and annual tax provision processes and maintain tax basis schedules.
• Oversee sales, use, and telecommunications tax compliance across all jurisdictions.
• Manage tax notices, audits, and correspondence with federal and state authorities.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for external tax consultants and advisors.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the entire tax function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of tax experience covering income, indirect, and international tax.
• Prior experience in public accounting or a corporate tax department.
• Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems such as NetSuite and Avalara.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity from Seattle or New York.

Nice to have

• CPA or MST certification.
• Experience managing or coordinating with outside tax advisors.
