Systems Engineer (TS/SCI): Providing systems engineering and enterprise architecture support to USG customers with an accent on requirements analysis, system design, and testing approaches. Focus on improving architecture workflows, transitioning "As Is" states to "To Be" states, and utilizing the System V model for product development.

Location: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance. Onsite in Herndon, VA; Melbourne, FL; or Colorado Springs, CO.

Salary: $113,000 - $165,000 (DC area) / $102,000 - $149,600 (Colorado)

What you will do

• Provide systems engineering and enterprise architecture support to USG customers.
• Identify and design processes and tools to improve architecture and engineering workflows.
• Articulate and capture system requirements, system design, and testing approaches.
• Investigate "As Is" architectures and recommend transition paths to "To Be" states.
• Develop standard, repeatable processes for architecture and integration projects based on the System V model.
• Create Enterprise Architecture Repository artifacts and support engineering review boards.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years of experience).
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Experience in requirements analysis, interface control documentation, ConOps, and Test Plans.
• Proficiency with Requirements Tools and Jira (SCRUM/AGILE).
• Familiarity with deployment and maintenance of Development, Test, and Operational environments.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of professional experience.
• Certification in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Experience using MBSE in software and system development projects.
• Knowledge of SAFe development processes.
