Location: Onsite in Binghamton, NY. US Citizens only.
Salary: $153,300–$169,500

What you will do
- Design and maintain core systems to ensure reliable, high-performing simulator operations.
- Modernize legacy simulator systems by implementing enhancements and optimizing stability.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate components into real-time training devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues across both modern and legacy platforms.
- Support system reviews and innovation to evolve next-generation training capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or a related engineering field.
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience in the defense domain (avionics, C4ISR, EW, or sensors).
- Must be a U.S. citizen to meet government contract requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical system issues.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of network/platform interfaces (Ethernet/TCP/IP, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429/664).
- Experience with Electronic Warfare, radar/EO/IR sensors, or signal processing/DSP.
- Experience working in Waterfall and/or Agile/Scrum environments.
