What you will do

• Drive the strategy and roadmap for a custom Visual Studio Code fork, focusing on AI-powered features and developer UX.
• Define the integration of autonomous coding agents (Agent Teams, Skills, Hooks) into the development workflow.
• Design an end-to-end spec-driven workflow connecting YouTrack specifications to AI-generated code and GitLab merge requests.
• Establish and track developer productivity metrics such as cycle time, AI adoption rates, and code quality.
• Run A/B tests and experiments to validate the impact of AI features on real-world engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with AI research and engineering teams to implement advanced context management and RAG architectures.

Requirements

• Must be based in or authorized to work in the United States
• 5+ years of product management experience, with 2+ years in developer tools, DevOps, or AI/ML products.
• Deep understanding of the modern SDLC, including Git, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants like Copilot, Cursor, or Cline.
• Technical expertise in VS Code extension development and IDE architecture.
• Proven track record of shipping developer-facing products in enterprise environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-agent orchestration and autonomous coding workflows.
• Familiarity with YouTrack and GitLab APIs.
• Knowledge of LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
• Previous experience in 0-to-1 product development or startup environments.
