What you will do
- Own the ECAD librarian role, creating and reviewing design components.
- Identify, evaluate, and source suitable components and alternate solutions for designs.
- Verify circuit performance through simulations and testing of prototype hardware.
- Participate in design reviews and trade-off analysis for sub-system architectures.
- Develop bring-up test plans and define FW/SW requirements for new hardware designs.
- Coordinate with firmware, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure system integration and serviceability.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least one previous internship in an EE field or a portfolio of relevant hardware projects.
- Experience with circuit simulation and ECAD tools (e.g., LTSpice, Altium).
- Experience with microcontrollers and board-level communication protocols (I2C, SPI, QSPI, UART, CAN).
- Familiarity with analog circuits and power conversion/supply topologies.
- Hands-on experience debugging electrical systems using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Nice to have
- Experience with low-voltage systems in high-voltage environments.
- Familiarity with fieldbus protocols like CAN or industrial ethernet.
- Knowledge of EMC, UL/IEC, and IPC standards for PCB design and manufacturing.
- Ability to create engineering drawings and wiring harness specifications.
- Exposure to firmware development and debugging tools.
