What you will do

  • Own the ECAD librarian role, creating and reviewing design components.
  • Identify, evaluate, and source suitable components and alternate solutions for designs.
  • Verify circuit performance through simulations and testing of prototype hardware.
  • Participate in design reviews and trade-off analysis for sub-system architectures.
  • Develop bring-up test plans and define FW/SW requirements for new hardware designs.
  • Coordinate with firmware, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure system integration and serviceability.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least one previous internship in an EE field or a portfolio of relevant hardware projects.
  • Experience with circuit simulation and ECAD tools (e.g., LTSpice, Altium).
  • Experience with microcontrollers and board-level communication protocols (I2C, SPI, QSPI, UART, CAN).
  • Familiarity with analog circuits and power conversion/supply topologies.
  • Hands-on experience debugging electrical systems using oscilloscopes and multimeters.

Nice to have

  • Experience with low-voltage systems in high-voltage environments.
  • Familiarity with fieldbus protocols like CAN or industrial ethernet.
  • Knowledge of EMC, UL/IEC, and IPC standards for PCB design and manufacturing.
  • Ability to create engineering drawings and wiring harness specifications.
  • Exposure to firmware development and debugging tools.
