Salary: $135,375–$203,063 per year

What you will do

• Establish a scalable data management framework for test benches and source prototypes to ensure data quality and readiness for ML workflows.
• Develop physics-informed machine learning models and scientific simulations to drive the optimization of lithography source technology.
• Integrate existing physics-based models into a master virtual model and establish infrastructure for deployment and maintenance.
• Propose experimental anchoring studies and analyze results to reduce model uncertainty through correlation building.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and identify de-risking activities to establish design guidelines and performance requirements.
• Troubleshoot algorithms and code required for source operation, data streaming, and storage.

Requirements

• Ph.D. with 3+ years or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience in mathematics, physics, or engineering.
• Extensive experience in physics-informed machine learning and integrating models into scalable master models.
• Strong expertise in optimization, deep learning methodologies, and building end-to-end data and training pipelines.
• Advanced software development skills in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
• Legally authorized to access controlled technology as defined in US Export Administration Regulations.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment, including gowning in Class 10K protocol.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in C/C++ and Matlab.
• Experience with MLflow or similar experimental tracking platforms for ML lifecycle management.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Google Distributed Cloud Edge (GDCE), Apache Spark, or Azure Databricks.
