Group Manager, Product Design - Back Office

Location: US Remote

Salary: $198,200–$297,400 USD for Zone 1 locations and $185,300–$277,900 USD for Zone 2 locations, plus annual bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Hire, train, mentor, and lead a high-performing product design team.
• Lead design projects across vision, strategy, and execution.
• Build lean design standards and processes that balance quality, capability, and speed.
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmaps aligned with company objectives.
• Use AI tools for rapid prototyping, generative exploration, and faster design delivery.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data Science, and distributed teams to create cohesive, inclusive user experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a SaaS or enterprise environment.
• Experience leading and managing a 3–10 person design team or groups of teams.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted design tools such as Figma Make, Claude, Cursor, or similar.
• Ability to deliver high-quality design output at scale using quantitative and qualitative measures.
• Strong coaching, leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and collaborate across time zones.
