What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term technology vision and roadmap in alignment with company growth objectives.
• Drive AI transformation across the organization, implementing AI-powered development practices and operational tooling.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Oversee the Information Security strategy, ensuring robust cybersecurity controls and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with executive leadership to align technology investments with business strategy and global expansion.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board on technology, AI, and innovation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience in high-growth SaaS, fintech, or payments companies.
• Proven track record of implementing AI-powered engineering practices and delivering measurable productivity improvements.
• Deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
• Experience overseeing Information Security programs and cybersecurity strategy.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting, developing, and retaining world-class technical talent.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity from Toronto or Montréal.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial infrastructure or regulated software environments.
• Familiarity with modern AI development tooling, agentic workflows, and automation platforms.
• Experience scaling globally distributed platforms and engineering teams.
