What you will do

• Lead discovery workshops with clients to capture technical and business requirements.
• Design high-level architecture diagrams and define component responsibilities to align with client goals.
• Prepare technical inputs for proposals, RFP responses, and solution blueprints.
• Recommend and select secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS services and tools.
• Collaborate with AWS Solution Architects and Sales teams to co-create joint solutions.
• Perform knowledge transfer to delivery teams to communicate solution vision and technical context.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in solution or cloud architecture, with at least 3 years focused on AWS.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and Bedrock.
• Hands-on experience designing solutions with AI/ML components like Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Familiarity with SDLC practices, including DevOps pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Ability to model cloud costs, prepare TCO comparisons, and conduct trade-off analysis.
• Must be based in the Toronto Greater Area, Canada.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification.
• Experience with multi-account setups, Landing Zones, and AWS security best practices.
• Background in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government.
• Exposure to hybrid-cloud designs or multi-cloud architectures (Azure, GCP).
