What you will do

• Design and deploy advanced machine learning models and classifiers to solve real-world integrity and security problems.
• Collaborate with researchers, software engineers, and product managers to turn AI research into tangible product solutions.
• Implement and optimize scalable data pipelines to ensure models are production-ready, accurate, and performant.
• Lead engineering practices through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical mentorship.
• Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure they continue to deliver value and maintain platform safety.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in deep learning and transformer models.
• Proficiency in ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with LLM training and fine-tuning methods, including distillation, supervised fine-tuning (SFT), and policy optimization.
• Must be based in the US (San Francisco).

Nice to have

• Experience with content understanding or abuse prevention using LLMs.
