Location: Must be based in Seattle, WA; role is 5 days a week onsite.

Salary: $230,000–$310,000

What you will do

• Drive the execution of AI and ML initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership in NLP, summarization, semantic search, and predictive modeling.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and data scientists.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML systems from research to production.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into the platform.
• Ensure data collection systems meet high standards of integrity, security, and compliance.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a focus on NLP and GenAI.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Python and SQL.
• Ability to work 5 days a week in the Seattle office.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech or data-intensive industries.
• Proven track record of shipping production-grade GenAI and LLM systems at scale.
• Expertise in cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and data pipelines (Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake).
