Salary: $135,000–$146,000 base salary and discretionary performance bonus (annual range).

What you will do
- Act as Incident Manager: ensure FIL Major Incident Management processes are followed for major events in Canada and coordinate response/recovery with internal employees, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate business continuity and disaster recovery analysts for the FCC Technology group and run post-mortems/root cause analysis after every incident.
- Develop and maintain incident response decision-making trees, refine incident response playbooks, and conduct periodic scenario analysis tests (tabletops/simulations).
- Manage production release deployments for critical FCC applications by following Fidelity Change Management policies, coordinating testing resources, environments, QA/UAT, sign-offs, deployment validation, and communications/training considerations.
- Provide technical support management for change management protocols prior to production deployments, including documentation/visuals for audits and chairing meetings to track QA/UAT issues to resolution.
- Recommend enhancements to the Major Incident Management framework and facilitate regular training for FCC employees and stakeholders on incident responsibilities.
Requirements
- Current work authorization for Canada is required.
- 5+ years of incident and release management experience.
- Experience creating and continuously improving incident management processes and running complex technology/operational incidents.
- Solid knowledge of brokerage or banking business environment, with focus on mid/back-office applications.
- Strong analytical thinking and superior written/oral communication skills, including explaining technical material to non-technical users.
- Solid desktop computer skills using MS Office.
