What you will do

• Design innovative optical architectures for integrated photonic components.
• Collaborate with test, RF design, and chip design teams to define functional specifications.
• Plan and execute experiments to optimize design parameters and resource efficiency.
• Perform Design Validation Testing (DVT) on prototypes to ensure target performance.
• Lead design reviews and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Coordinate with NPI and operations groups to transfer developed designs to production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in technology-oriented product development.
• Experience in high-speed integrated photonic components, optical design, and measurement.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solving capabilities and initiative.
• Effective communication skills with a focus on solutions-oriented dialogue.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or higher in engineering or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and Design Validation Testing (DVT).
• Experience with IC assembly processes and thermo-mechanical stresses optimization.
• Knowledge of finite element analysis tools such as ANSYS.
