Operations Specialist – Schemes (Insurance)

What you will do

• Execute changes to existing insurance schemes, including product rebuilds, rate changes, and wording updates.
• Support day-to-day operational processes, new scheme warranties, policy data processing, and internal and external reporting.
• Own operational risk events and associated actions for the Schemes function.
• Coordinate the adoption of new processes, tools, technology, and system changes while minimising disruption.
• Develop change management plans, assess business impact, prepare mitigation plans, and track KPIs.
• Coordinate communications, training, and stakeholder relationships across internal teams and broker partners.

Requirements

• Experience in an operations, coordination, or change-focused role within insurance or a similar environment.
• Experience supporting or delivering process improvements and change initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation, communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, identify issues, and drive solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience working in schemes or delegated authority environments.
