What you will do
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models and drawings for water/wastewater systems, including piping layouts and BOP designs.
- Create 2D fabrication drawings, spool drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs) to support manufacturing.
- Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, engineering standards, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to coordinate designs and resolve technical issues.
- Support design reviews and incorporate feedback into high-quality engineering documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of CAD design experience (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS (Routing, Weldments) and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Experience with Balance of Plant (BOP) or skid design for water/wastewater plants.
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards and ability to work independently.
Nice to have
- Revit/BIM experience.
- Background in Food & Beverage, Municipal, or Industrial sectors.
- CSWP (Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional) certification.
