What you will do

• Develop Python data pipelines to build business data objects used to support applications.
• Identify and resolve complex application and technical problems.
• Build and deploy CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement source-to-target mapping as pipeline code.
• Execute unit and integration testing to maintain high software quality standards.
• Establish good engineering practices and mentor team members for growth.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and structured delivery methodologies.
• Proven experience in software product design and architecture.
• Proficiency in Python and solid knowledge of OOP principles.
• Experience with Git version control within medium to large teams.
• Must be based in Chicago, IL or Peoria, IL.
• Visa sponsorship and domestic relocation assistance are NOT available.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS components (Lambda, Kinesis, Event Bridge, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Dynamo, Fargate, S3, SageMaker, IAM, RDS).
• Experience working with Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI developer tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
