What you will do

• Configure and maintain applications to meet business and clinical workflows, ensuring consistency across the organization.
• Administer user access, security features, role categories, and permission levels.
• Troubleshoot system issues in collaboration with application administrators, IT services, and external vendors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all assigned applications.
• Provide coaching and facilitate "train the trainers" sessions for key users and stakeholders.
• Act as a key liaison between business owners, vendors, and MHS/EMC ITS teams.

Requirements

• University degree in a technology-centric field or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in information systems management, preferably within a public safety environment.
• Experience working with electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) systems and computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems.
• Technical experience with hardline/IP based telephony and trunked mobile radio systems.
• Proficiency in needs analysis and software/system selection methodologies.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite at the Dartmouth, NS Admin Office.
