What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality features across web and desktop-native applications.
• Optimize monetization, signup, onboarding, activation, and expansion experiences.
• Develop experimentation and feature-flagging capabilities to enable rapid A/B testing and data-driven decisions.
• Build scalable platform capabilities to empower growth initiatives efficiently.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive architectural decisions to improve system stability and maintainability.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to diagnose and resolve critical production issues.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python, Vue/React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and GCP.
• Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Practical experience with serverless computing, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Proven ability to design and maintain at least two large-scale production systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be based in Vancouver, Canada
