Senior Software Developer (Enterprise Systems)

Location: Available to candidates across Canadian hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, Toronto); hybrid work with minimum twice per week in office on Anchor Days.

Salary: $144,700 to $195,900 CAD (depending on region, experience, and skills).

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack internal applications used by Finance, GTM, and other operational teams.
• Develop rules-based data processing pipelines to automate workflows and integrate with third-party APIs.
• Own features end-to-end: from gathering requirements with stakeholders to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate operational needs into maintainable software solutions.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Ruby on Rails (Python background also considered).
• Full-stack development skills across backend, frontend, and data layers.
• Experience with data processing workflows, business rules, transformations, and API integrations.
• Track record translating ambiguous requirements into well-tested software.
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases, including optimization.
• Engineering fundamentals: code review, testing, CI/CD, documentation.
• Ability to work hybrid in Canadian hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, Toronto) with office presence twice per week.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SaaS integrations (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workato) via APIs or ETL.
• Experience building internal tooling in product-driven SaaS companies.
• Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Keen interest in using AI to improve engineering craft.
