TL;DR
Mainframe Console Operator (Mainframe/IT Infrastructure): Monitoring and controlling enterprise mainframe and distributed systems to ensure high availability and stability with an accent on system health monitoring and incident response. Focus on operating z/OS and Unisys environments, following operational runbooks, and escalating critical system alerts.

What you will do
- Monitor mainframe and distributed systems via the central operations console to ensure stability.
- Respond to system alerts within defined timeframes and escalate incidents according to procedures.
- Track and document system availability, incidents, and operational events.
- Operate environments using z/OS Console, Omegamon, Tandem, and Unisys systems.
- Execute operational runbooks and collaborate with higher-level support teams.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with IT infrastructure and system monitoring concepts.
- Ability to monitor alerts, follow strict procedures, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills in an operational environment.
- Must be based in Mexico City.
Nice to have
- Basic English proficiency.
- Technical degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with IT operations environments or monitoring tools.
