Microsoft Collaboration Engineer

Location: Remote - Mexico; hybrid work with some in-office and/or in-person expectations.

What you will do

• Design, implement, administer, and secure Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Copilot, Power Platform, and Exchange Online.
• Evaluate new platform features, audit the environment, and improve day-to-day operations through automation.
• Integrate Microsoft 365 applications with existing systems and third-party tools to improve productivity and streamline workflows.
• Monitor system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement enhancements that improve the user experience.
• Protect data integrity through security controls and compliance practices.
• Resolve incidents and act as an escalation point between IT Support and Security teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer or in a similar role.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and Microsoft 365 security best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Preferred: 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Entra ID, Azure DevOps, and Azure Logic Apps.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Microsoft certifications such as MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert.
