What you will do

• Manage and grow a team of frontend engineers, providing mentorship and leadership.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and testing of user interfaces for mortgage research and application processes.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code to ensure a high-quality user experience.
• Translate complex business requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Promote software engineering best practices and cultivate a culture of quality across the codebase.
• Collaborate with the broader engineering organization to deliver seamless product features.

Requirements

• Deep professional experience with TypeScript, React, CSS, and HTML.
• Expert understanding of client-side JavaScript.
• Proven track record of using automated testing platforms and unit tests to maintain code quality.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, code versioning, and issue management.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the London office according to the hybrid schedule.
