What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software designers developing embedded software and drivers for photonic hardware.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of design, development, testing, and delivery for RLS Interface Management Modules.
• Act as the primary interface with third-party vendors to define requirements, monitor schedules, and resolve software defects.
• Collaborate with factory teams to develop processes and tools for efficient module testing and calibration.
• Coordinate with global peer teams in different time zones to ensure seamless software integration.
• Identify and implement improvements in development processes, tools, and methodologies within the photonics domain.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing software design teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience in vendor management, including defining technical deliverables and monitoring schedules.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.
• Solid expertise in embedded software development, RTOS device drivers, HAL, Linux/VxWorks, and card/module bring-up.
• Experience with alarming, control, and management software for hardware interfaces.
• Knowledge of photonic technologies and layer 0 systems is highly desirable.

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
