Staff Product Manager (AI)

Staff Product Manager (AI/ML): Defining the product vision and strategy for ranking, recommendations, and personalization within the hirify.global app with an accent on integrating generative AI and ML capabilities. Focus on building experimentation frameworks, translating model trade-offs into shippable features, and improving athlete engagement.

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in San Francisco (SF), working on-site 3 days per week

Salary: $250K – $270K base + Equity

What you will do

• Define and own the domain strategy and roadmap for ranking, recommendations, and personalization across core athlete experiences.
• Identify and prioritize high-value GenAI and ML product opportunities aligned with company priorities.
• Partner with ML engineering and data science to translate model capabilities and technical trade-offs into shippable product decisions.
• Build and drive experimentation and measurement frameworks to improve relevance, engagement, and athlete outcomes.
• Align stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Design to resolve ambiguity in complex initiatives.
• Contribute to the broader AI/ML product strategy, specifically exploring how generative AI can improve the athlete experience.

Requirements

• Substantial product management experience shipping ML-powered products such as ranking, recommendations, personalization, search, or feeds at scale.
• Deep fluency in modern ML and generative AI, including model evaluation and data pipelines.
• Proven track record of owning domain-level strategy end-to-end.
• Strong instincts for experimentation and measurement, using data to drive measurable improvements.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions without direct authority.
• Must be based in the US and able to work from the San Francisco office 3+ days per week.
