HR Business Partner (Operations): Acting as a strategic advisor to Operations leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and performance with an accent on workforce planning, change management, and talent development. Focus on supporting a globally distributed workforce within a complex matrixed environment and ensuring alignment of people strategies with business objectives.

Location: Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada. Hybrid work options available.

What you will do

  • Partner with Operations leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and performance.
  • Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management initiatives.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, including performance management and investigations.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence to implement corporate HR programs.
  • Support transformation initiatives and ensure alignment of people strategies with business goals.
  • Analyze people metrics to identify risks and develop proactive action plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • Proven experience supporting leadership at the Director level or above.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change and employee relations independently.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems like Workday and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting global or internationally distributed teams.
  • Background in manufacturing, operations, or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with matrixed organizational structures.
  • Exposure to procurement and supply chain business units.
