Salary: $143,200 - $196,900

What you will do
- Lead a team of software engineers building cloud-native platforms leveraging Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Cassandra, and PostgreSQL.
- Implement modern DevOps and CI/CD practices using GitHub, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS services.
- Determine technical strategy and architecture for healthcare interoperability solutions, including FHIR-based integrations.
- Align engineering delivery with product roadmaps while ensuring adherence to security and governance requirements (ATO).
- Oversee international deployments and maintain system scalability, resiliency, and high availability.
- Provide on-call support for critical systems to ensure operational continuity.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of software/infrastructure experience OR High School Diploma with 14+ years of experience.
- 3+ years of recent experience in a supervisory or technical leadership role.
- 5+ years of experience developing cloud-native applications with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and NoSQL/SQL databases.
- 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS (including S3).
- Experience building healthcare technology solutions, including FHIR standards and ATO security compliance.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems.
- 5+ years of experience in regulated healthcare or government environments with exposure to GovRAMP.
- Strong skills in mentoring high-performing engineering teams and cross-functional collaboration.
