What you will do
- Perform extensive analysis of financial statements to assess credit profiles and recommend exposure limits.
- Evaluate complex business arrangements and conduct deep-dive research into merchant operations.
- Recommend and establish appropriate credit limits and collateral to minimize financial risk.
- Collaborate with merchants, business development, relationship managers, and legal departments to support growth.
- Monitor and communicate credit concerns, including regulatory and reputational risks, to management.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in analyzing financial statements, performing credit analysis, and drafting credit memos.
- Must be based in the US (Cincinnati or Atlanta) to accommodate the hybrid work model.
- Strong judgment, decision-making skills, and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and take full ownership of assigned accounts.
Nice to have
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar formal credit training.
- Knowledge of merchant acquiring services and the payment processing industry.
