Salary: $180,000 – $225,000 USD

What you will do
- Own underwriting policy and execution across card merchants, A2A clients, and ISO/ISV sub-merchant populations.
- Manage portfolio risk, including fraud monitoring, ACH return-rate performance, and chargeback operations.
- Oversee reserve methodology, sizing, and financial exposure management.
- Serve as the primary risk contact for financial institution partners, ODFIs, and sponsor banks.
- Lead the integration of risk frameworks and banking arrangements following recent acquisitions.
- Partner with the Compliance function to ensure alignment on BSA, AML, OFAC, and network compliance.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US
- 8+ years of experience in risk and underwriting within a regulated payments business (acquirer, payfac, processor, or A2A platform).
- Proven experience owning sponsor bank or ODFI relationships as the accountable party.
- Deep expertise in fraud strategy, chargeback management, and AML/KYC/KYB governance.
- Ability to communicate complex risk concepts to executive leadership and external partners.
- Experience leading and scaling senior teams in a high-growth environment.
