What you will do

• Maintain safe working conditions and ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
• Operate boilers and ancillary equipment and support reliable plant operation for cogeneration and steam/chilled water systems.
• Perform preventive/corrective maintenance, cleaning, inspection, testing, repairing, and calibration of electrical, electronic, and pneumatic control systems.
• Troubleshoot and analyze instrument, control, and metering issues; repair and modify control circuitry with high precision.
• Install and program electronic instruments and computerized controls, including programmable controllers and sensing elements.
• Create and maintain diagrams/drawings/plans and keep accurate operation and maintenance records; provide technical support during new installations.

Requirements

• Technical or trade school degree in electronics, computer science, or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive technician experience maintaining and repairing in central plant, power generation, or other process plants.
• Ability to write logic using Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagrams; diagnose and resolve issues in existing PLC programs.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, optimizing control logic for efficiency, and implementing system updates.
• Experience creating and maintaining documentation (system schematics, wiring diagrams, and programming logic).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured by the company’s vehicle insurance carrier.
