What you will do
- Repair and maintain plant facilities, machinery, and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Conduct routine, periodic, and special inspections to determine required maintenance work.
- Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and control systems using test meters and tools.
- Write and manage maintenance work in SAP, including work orders, comments, notifications, and spare parts/BOM lookup.
- Maintain safety compliance including LOTO validations, safety trainings, and required certifications.
- Support shift coverage and be available for overtime/off-shift work when needed.
Requirements
- Understanding of instrumentation and equipment, including motor controls.
- Ability to test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and meggers.
- Formal training or experience in mechanics, electricity, and electrical schematics; ability to read schematics and wiring panels.
- Proficiency troubleshooting and programming PLCs without supervision.
- Competence installing and maintaining VFDs; knowledge of NEC codes.
- Ability to work on shift with minimal supervision and maintain strong safety/attendance record.
