What you will do

• Lead design for manufacture (DFM) and critique new designs to determine the most suitable manufacturing processes.
• Drive the technical selection of composite materials and manufacturing methods to increase quality and cost competitiveness.
• Develop 3D designs and complete assemblies from concept through to production drawings, including full BOMs.
• Perform root cause analysis to characterize production issues and implement permanent technical solutions.
• Create and implement engineering changes and work instructions on the shop floor.
• Assist in the integration and testing of composite assemblies with electrical or hydraulic components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a production engineering position specializing in composites.
• Experience in composites manufacturing for aerospace, defense, or precision engineering products.
• Strong proficiency in CAD and experience using SAP or other ERP software systems.
• Deep understanding of composite materials, chemistry, and resins.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of experience in production engineering.
• Certification in DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly).
• Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
• Previous professional experience in the UAE or Middle East.
